Dancin' Dude

Tonight was the last Mamaroneck Shares block party of the summer.  I told Daddy to meet us on Mamaroneck Avenue, expecting to have dinner there.  Alex and I walked there, him insisting that he was NOT going to dance at all. Nope. Not one step.

We walked past an ambulance to meet Daddy near CVS.  Alex insisted that we return to it.  In fact, he would have preferred to stay at the ambulance and give Daddy a miss.  After meeting Daddy, Alex insisted we get moving back to the ambulance.  There, he was given a tour by an EMT.  Being so familiar with ambulances and all (July 4th ride), he asked where the oxygen was and knew exactly where the stretcher went.  And where was "the thing that goes on your finger like this?" (He meant the blood oxygen meter clamp.)

After the ambulance tour, he went through the obstacle course hosted by Equinox. He was pretty good!

We stopped for pizza at Joe's. Each time the door opened, you could hear the music of the kiddie dance party, whose booth was directly across the street from Joe's.  Depsite his best efforts, Alex just could not resist the call.

'Cuz he's a real Dancin' Dude that Alex.
