He's Here! He's Here!

We've suffered several unsuccessful attempts at catching the ice cream truck. We'll often hear his music - Music Box Dancer. Alex will dash to the window to see him, but he either doesn't pass by this street or we're not quick enough to stop him.

This time, Mommy was quick and flagged him down. She had her wallet ready. Alex was thrilled, but he wouldn't walk out of the house to cross the street to the truck. No shoes! So Mommy carried him to the truck where we ordered ice cream together.

Mommy ordered a Toasted Almond bar while she got a chocolate fudge sundae cup for Alex and a Cookie's n' Cream cup for Daddy. Once inside, Alex decided that he liked the look of Mommy's bar better.

'No, you have this one', he said as he pushed his sundae cup to me.

Then he proceeded to rather HAVE the bar than eat it. Mommy got a little miffed at that while she watched it melt.
