From Daddy, With...er...Love?

Alex saw "Kelly's Heroes" the week before Mommy had her surgery. He's been all over it ever since. Daddy decided it was inevitable that Alex would have army men, so he purchased a WW II set (or so he thought) for Alex.

For what it's worth, the "enemy" are Germans, under the standard flag of the Federal Republic of Germany. (I guess the flag of the Third Reich is deemed too much for kids.) And the helicopters are from the VN era, when the US were the bad guys. But the army men are all from WW II. So that's something.
